Changes to Amazon Review Confirmation Emails

Hello fellow authors and reviewers,

We have noticed a recent shift in how Amazon is handling review notifications. Many of our members have reported that Amazon has stopped sending out the “Your review is live” email confirmations that we all typically rely on.

At this time, we do not know if this is a temporary technical glitch on Amazon’s end or a permanent change to their notification system. However, we want to ensure your workflow within Get Books Reviewed remains as smooth as possible. If you are waiting on a confirmation email to get the URL for a review you completed, please use the following workaround to find your public review link:

• Visit the Book Page: Go directly to the Amazon sales page for the book you just reviewed.
• Navigate to Reviews: Click on the star rating or the review count at the top of the page to jump down to the customer reviews section.
• Search for Your Review: If you don’t see your review on this page, then click the “See more reviews >” link. Use the “Search customer reviews” box to look for specific keywords or the unique title you used in your review.+1
• Grab the URL: Once you find your review, click on the Review Title link (next to the star rating). This will open the review on its own page.
• Submit to GBR: Copy that URL from your browser’s address bar and paste it into your Get Books Reviewed dashboard to complete your assignment and earn your tokens.

By using this manual method, you can continue to verify your activity and keep your token balance growing without waiting for an email that may never arrive.
