Hope you are doing well and enjoying your summer so far. Some of you have been with us from the beginning and some of you are pretty new to this site. Most of you fall somewhere in between. It’s been a while since I’ve sent you any messages and this will be the last one you’ll get from me, but it’s a very important one. So please take a few minutes read through this. Get Books Reviewed launched and has been active now for three years and it has continued to grow as you might have noticed. We get new members every day even without advertising, and I thank so many of you for your referrals of friends and colleagues.
Some of you know I added a virtual assistant about a year ago and he’s been terrific in helping to verify the hundreds of reviews you all place every week. The growth has been steady and has reached a point where I have found it difficult to handle all the tasks, customer service and especially some of the technical issues on my own.
My developer has been wonderfully responsive whenever we’ve had needs or issues that required immediate attention and I appreciate his help so much. If it wasn’t for Benjamin, we wouldn’t have this site. He built this from the ground up and back in October he did a very comprehensive update which has made it more efficient and better for all of us. As we’ve seen the growth, he has perceived ways that he can continue to improve the efficiency of the site with some new systems and automation that he is looking forward to putting in place. Even as I write this, he is working on implementing some of those ideas.
The purpose of this message is to introduce you to Benjamin, my developer, who is now the new owner of GetBooksReviewed.com. We have decided that he’s going to take over the full operation of this site along with the extra help that he will engage as/when needed.
This transfer took place at the beginning of June, and I have been helping in the transition during the last 90 days while he is getting familiar with the “behind the scenes” tasks that I have been doing with the day-to-day activities and customer service.
There’s no better person in the world to be in control of this site than the creator of it. And so I wanted to introduce you to Benjamin and tell you I have full confidence in his ability to take over for me in leading the charge with this site. He is your go to guy if you have any issues, questions, feedback, or suggestions.
It has been my pleasure to work with all of you and I appreciate the friendships that have developed through our many message conversations over the past many months. Thank you so much for your participation with your thoughtful reviews. Without your activity and feedback, this site would never have experienced the success that it has. Things will only get better as Benjamin has the ability to take this site to the next level and beyond with his technical expertise.
What am I going to do now, you ask? I am finally going to get back to writing a couple of books that I started before I got so busy with this site. They have been in my head and on my heart for a long time, but have had no time to work on them. I will continue to use the site myself as a member and will continue to add more of my own books over time.
